We live in interesting times.

I think the internet is the biggest change since the invention of moveable type.  Millions of domains have been registered and all around the globe,  young and old, rich and poor, and everything in between are seeing if they can make a living on the internet.

No one really knows what will work so lots of things get tried.  We happen to be folks who are interested in a lot of things rather than one big thing.  So, we  have begun developing many small niche sites instead of trying to grow one or two large ones.  You can get a better idea of what we plan by visiting Wealth With Websites where were talk about many of our ideas in detail.

We have come to realize this requires a broader skill set than is generally appreciated.  When the opportunity to register this domain came about it seemed like a natural place to write up our experiences as we learn.  We certainly don't claim to have all the answers.  In that sense, the idea of a manual where everything is presented in cookbook fashon is incorrect.  This will become more of an ongoinog commentary of what has and has not worked for us.  Readers will have to think about it in terms of there own experience and see if our ideas will work for them.

We do indeed live in interesting times.

Listed below are current auctions on Ebay which come up for a search on "niche marketing".  Obviously, a lot of others are not shy about claiming to have the answers.  For those of you who had not had the "pleasure" of reading internet marketing material "Master Resale Rights" means a author arote something and then sold it others with the promise they could make a ton of money reselling it to yet others.

As I write this, the online marketplace is filled with "Squeeze Pages" offering all the "Secrets of the Experts" for only $xxx.  Unfortunately "Secrets" means an approach to internet marketing that worked for one guy, in one place, at one time.  It may or may not work well for someone else, for a different subject, at a different time.  I think these internet marketers, at least the responsible ones, are caught in something of a trap.  On the one hand they want to encourage people to try for online success.  However, mastery of internet marketing is not something that can be reduced to a few simple steps.  So their instructions are terribly simplistic.

We would encourage you to look at the sales pitches, what they promise, and how it is presented.  We would also suggest you hang onto your wallet.  If you are new to the internet marketing game you need to spend a lot of time doing research before you spend much money.  You can find all the "Secrets" for free on the various forums, you just have to work harder and read more to find them.
